Black Friday Apps

Forbes recently wrote an article about the Best Apps for Black Friday. Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the American population should be able to give a nice little boost to the economy! With smart phones being hugely popular, companies are smart to cater to them. Here are some of the best apps to help consumers out on Black Friday.

  1. The Find lets you save your wish lists and set price watches so you won't miss those great deals! The Find also syncs with things you "like" via Facebook.
  2. ShopKick is great for Four Square lovers. The app earns you reward points by opening it in the entrance area of participating stores and your points can be redeemed for a variety of gift cards.
  3. Google Shopper includes many Google products to locate great deals and product info including voice search and Google maps to find the store of your choice.
  4. Buzzillion Reviews is an app filled with 17 million customer product reviews so you can really research those great deals before purchasing.
  5. Milo Local Shopping helps you find out where that to-die-for jacket is in stock. This app scans the real-time availability and pricing for over 3 million products so you can get your Target track suit on and race through the aisles!
Apparently some big trends for this Black Friday are Ugg Boots and North Face jackets [as always] and new to the list- those new five-finger shoes. Can't say I'll be braving the Black Friday traffic for these!

  1. Great idea to post Black Friday apps! I might just have to download some, although I don't think I will be braving the crowds this year.
